At Evvnt, our platform may be powered by technology—but it’s driven by people who genuinely care about helping events succeed at every level. One of those people is Micah Flowers, a cornerstone of our Client Services and Technical Partner Success team.

From first-time community organizers to our largest enterprise partners, Micah is often the calm, steady voice on the other end of the line—especially when things feel like they’re on fire (spoiler: they usually aren’t).

From Service Industry to Event Tech

Micah has spent his entire career in the service industry, paired with a lifelong love of technology. When a local connection introduced him to Bryan and the opportunity at Evvnt, the role immediately clicked.

“It felt like a perfect fit from the start,” Micah says. “Helping people, solving problems, and working with tech—it all came together here.”

What He Does at Evvnt (Aka: Soup to Nuts)

Micah’s role spans the full lifecycle of an event on the Evvnt platform.

On one end of the spectrum, he’s helping someone submit their very first church or community event—sometimes walking them through every step patiently. On the other, he’s building complex accounts and supporting enterprise-level partners with advanced ticketing, integrations, and on-site execution.

His work includes:

  • Account creation and onboarding

  • Event submission and promotion guidance

  • Complex venue layouts and floor plans

  • Ticketing setup, live reporting, and customer data access

  • Supporting ticket buyers with issues

  • On-site prep, equipment guidance, and best practices

  • Post-event reporting and data consolidation

But if there’s one phase Micah knows best, it’s crunch time.

The Calm During Crunch Time

The week before an event is when panic tends to peak. Wi-Fi issues feel catastrophic. Card readers suddenly seem possessed. Stress levels skyrocket.

“This is where we really shine,” Micah explains. “A lot of times, it’s just about being there, calming people down, and walking through simple solutions that feel like a crisis in the moment.”

More often than not, the fix is straightforward—but having someone knowledgeable, patient, and steady makes all the difference.

Why the “Little Guys” Matter Most

While Micah works with some of Evvnt’s largest partners, his favorite moments come from helping small, community-focused events succeed.

“I love the local events—the ones that do this once a year for their community,” he says. “Book Bus events, church fundraisers, donation-based events for kids—those are special.”

He’s supported events that bring books to underprivileged areas, local community fundraisers, and small gatherings that don’t generate huge revenue but have a massive impact. These are the events that remind him why Evvnt exists.

What Makes Evvnt Different

Micah is passionate about Evvnt’s role in the event ecosystem—and just as passionate about what Evvnt isn’t.

“We’re not Ticketmaster or StubHub,” he says. “We’re not predatory. We partner with local entities, and that means both reputations are on the line.”

Evvnt’s focus on transparency, fair pricing, and genuine partnership is what sets it apart. The goal is simple: help events succeed, whether it’s a bake sale or a global tech conference.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of Evvnt, Micah is all about family, creativity, and fun.

He loves attending local comedy shows and live music, but these days, life revolves around family-friendly events with his daughter Crystal (almost five!). Think fairs, cookouts, and town street festivals.

His hobbies cover a wide range:

  • Tinkering with tech (mini PCs, Raspberry Pi, 3D printing)

  • Learning coding languages like Lua, Python, and C#

  • Exploring the outdoors—even Michigan winters

  • Hiking Sleeping Bear Dunes, tubing rivers, beach days, and camping

  • Games of all kinds—from hide-and-seek to video games

And most notably: Dungeons & Dragons.

Micah has been playing D&D since he was around seven years old and still runs a campaign every Sunday as a Dungeon Master. When he’s not adventuring, you’ll likely find him curled up on the couch watching the same movie for the 300th time—because Crystal loves it.

One Thing He Wants Customers to Know

If Micah could leave customers with one message, it’s this:

“We’re not a restrictive service. We’re a partner. We want you to feel empowered, capable, and successful—without unnecessary friction.”

At Evvnt, success isn’t gated or complicated. It’s supported.

And Micah is one of the people making sure that support is always there—especially when it matters most. Thanks for all you do for our team!
