evvnt celebrates its 3rd anniversary

Today we’re excited to be celebrating our 3rd birthday amongst staff and with some of our favourite users, marking another milestone in the history of evvnt.
Over the past year we’ve seen significant progress for the company, improving the product and sealing some huge partnerships that have rooted our position as the online event marketing specialists.
evvnt users now interact with a fully self-served platform, allowing them to submit events, purchase packages and access our reporting instantly.
Most significantly our year has peaked with our inclusion in Eventbrite Spectrum. Eventbrite approached us in late January with a proposal to build a new feature for their users, to extend our event marketing to the global Eventbrite user network. We build ‘Broadcast’, a free 10 site listing product that is available to the hundreds of thousands of events selling tickets on Eventbrite.
We’ve also made some significant strategic hires to the benefit of the business. After the merging of evvnt and EventSneaker on our 2nd birthday, massively enhancing our technology offering, our 3rd birthday sees us announce Kim O’Hara as our new Head of Sales.
She brings a wealth of experience that has seen her build a profile across huge brands like Qype and TimeOut.
We’ve expanded our publisher network past 5,000 sites – part of our constant commitment to the diversity of our users. Each new user represents to us another world of listing sites to be discovered by our network.
We discover new events in new locations and genres every day, and have expanded our publisher network to 5,234 to cover this, and will keep growing.
Partners and publishers have made up a big part of our network expansion. Eventbranche, Evolero, EIN News have all joined us in offering evvnt marketing to their users and we have even more publishers using our Publisher API to get the latest events content as soon as our users submit it.
evvnt’s history has seen us grow from humble origins to a software platform serving thousands of users globally. Our involvement and commitment to the continued success of the events industry pushes us with new challenges.
