The Evening Chronicle events is the North East’s most popular daily evening newspaper and has served Newcastle and the surrounding area since 1885. It is owned by the Trinity Mirror Group, which also owns the Chronicle’s sister publications The Journal and Sunday Sun. It was formerly known as the Evening Chronicle until April 2013.
