The 13th Annual World Health Care Congress took place in Washington DC from the 10th-13th of April, convening decision makers and leaders from all sectors of the healthcare spectrum to catalyse meaningful partnerships and change. The faculty focus of this year’s conference was put on the impact of mega-mergers and consolidation, navigating ACA implementation, the shifts from FFS to value-based payment, and scalable, innovative care models and technologies that show promise in reducing cost and increasing quality. Prominent speakers of the conference included US Congresswoman Diana DeGette and IBM Chairman Ginni Rometty.
