They were looking for a simple solution to submit events to their own Facebook, a time saving tool, a new audience reach and event marketing momentum that ‘pings’ activity into natural search – the solution is evvnt.
Italian Food Festival in Peterborough
The fourth Peterborough Italian Festival will include a special appearance from Italian chef and TV star Gino D’Acampo. The 2009 ‘I’m A Celebrity’ winner will attend the event, which is being held for the first time over two days this summer. The event will take place in Cathedral Square on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th September from 12 noon each day – the first time it has been spread over two days. A spokesman for the Italian Festival said: “It will once again provide visitors with the opportunity to buy traditional produce from an Italian market.
“Some of the finest ingredients available will be used in cooking demonstrations by top chefs flown in from Peterborough’s twin town of Forli’ and visitors can sample the results for themselves. Thousands are expected to visit the city centre on both days, but Gino will only be there on the Sunday. He will appear live on stage in Cathedral Square before signing copies of his book at Barista in St Peter’s Arcade.
On both days, there wlil be dance artists from Florence, a string quartet and a Ferrari memorabilia stand. No Italian celebration would be complete without pizza and people will be encouraged to enter the World Pizza Eating Championships. Children can make their own pizza in the ‘take and bake’ stand.
Activities also include demonstration of Italian sausage making, authentic Italian food tasting, and a pop-up restaurant on Saturday evening at Riva, which you can book your place at today. Additional activities and displays are being added to the festival every week.
